RAWALPINDI, Pakistan - Pakistan's military leadership on Tuesday vowed to relentlessly pursue and eliminate all "terrorist proxies" operating at the behest of India and other external sponsors, as the country's top commanders conducted a comprehensive review of internal and external security challenges.

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, presided over the 274th Corps Commanders' Conference at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi, where the forum offered prayers for military personnel, law enforcement officers, and civilians killed in defense of the country.

The military leadership issued a stark warning to what it described as terrorist networks supported by foreign actors.

"All terrorist proxies operating on behest of Indian and other external sponsors, along with their facilitators and abettors, will be pursued and eliminated, relentlessly, and without exception," the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement following the conference.

The forum directed that the pace of "Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq" – a counter-terrorism campaign – be maintained until terrorist safe havens are fully dismantled and the use of Afghan soil against Pakistan is "decisively brought to an end."

The conference expressed concern over what it called the latest attacks on Saudi Arabia's petrochemical and industrial complex, describing the strikes as an "unnecessary escalation" that undermines diplomatic efforts to resolve regional conflicts.

The forum noted that restraint and calibration shown by Saudi Arabia, despite "grave provocations," had enabled mediation and diplomatic resolution. However, it warned that such aggressions carry "serious repercussions" that could spoil ongoing peaceful options and the conducive environment for dialogue.

- Rejection of Indian Allegations

The military leadership categorically rejected what it termed "persistent disinformation, baseless allegations, and false flag narratives" of India, stating that such tactics "stand discredited internationally."

The forum also expressed concern over ongoing human rights violations by Indian authorities in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, specifically noting what it described as "a recent spate of fake encounters" at various locations designed to cover up extrajudicial killings.

The conference reviewed both internal and external security environments and reaffirmed Pakistan's role as a "responsible regional stakeholder" actively contributing to peace and stability.

The forum appreciated the government's efforts to help end the war in the Middle East, echoing calls for restraint, dialogue, and de-escalation. It reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to "principled diplomacy and constructive engagement" as a regional security stabiliser.

In his concluding remarks, Field Marshal Munir directed commanders to maintain the highest standards of operational readiness, professionalism, and adaptability. He expressed full confidence in the armed forces' ability to counter all forms of threats and ensure Pakistan's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The military leadership also paid solemn tribute to the sacrifices of soldiers and civilians, stating that "their legacy remains the bedrock of Pakistan's national security."
