WASHINGTON - US President Donald Trump said he will review a new proposal from Iran as tensions persist over the Strait of Hormuz, while Washington moves ahead with billions of dollars in arms sales to regional allies, CNN reported.

According to Iranian state media, Tehran has submitted a 14-point response to a US proposal aimed at easing the standoff, though details of the plan remain unclear.
