Azerbaijan chief of general staff meets Pakistan army chief

ISLAMABAD - 1st Deputy Minister of Defence of Republic of Azerbaijan and Chief of General Staff of Azerbaijan Army, Colonel General Karim Valiyev on Tuesday called on General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) at General Headquarters Rawalpindi.


According to the ISPR, During the meeting, matters related to defence and security cooperation between the two brotherly countries were discussed with emphasis on enhancing mutual cooperation in military and professional matters.

Azerbaijan ambassador to PakistanKhazar Farhadov was also present on the occasion.

Colonel General Karim Valiyev arrived in Pakistan to meet his counterpart of other officials of the country.
