TEHRAN/WASHINGTON – Iranian Revolutionary Guard forces have launched a second wave of retaliatory strikes targeting US bases across the Middle East, as American installations in Jordan, Kuwait, and Bahrain came under attack, CNN reported Thursday.

Americans in Jordan were warned to take cover, while Kuwait and Bahrain both activated their air defense systems in response to the incoming threats.

The attacks mark the second consecutive night of escalation between Washington and Tehran. The US military said it had completed strikes against targets in Iran, focusing on surveillance capabilities, communication systems, and air defense sites. Explosions were heard across Iran, including a string of key locations near the strategic Strait of Hormuz.

President Donald Trump warned that US attacks could resume if a deal is not reached, blaming slow progress in negotiations to end the war. He said the military may again target critical Iranian infrastructure.

The back-and-forth strikes come just weeks after a US-Iran peace deal brokered by Pakistan appeared to have calmed the region. With both sides now trading direct blows and diplomatic efforts faltering, fears of a full-scale regional war continue to mount.
