Trump: U.S. Struck Three Iranian Nuclear Sites

WASHINGTON - US President Donald Trump has confirmed that the United States carried out airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear facilitiesFordo, Natanz, and Isfahan—marking a major escalation in US involvement in the Israel–Iran conflict.

Speaking from the White House, Trump declared the operation “a spectacular military success,” stating that all US planes have safely exited Iranian airspace and the targeted sites were “completely and totally obliterated”

He warned Iran to choose “peace or face tragedy,” adding that additional targets remain in US crosshairs

The strikes involved B‑2 stealth bombers carrying bunker-buster bombs, aimed particularly at the subterranean Fordo facility

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised the action, calling it a decisive step in dismantling Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

Iran’s state media confirmed that its air defenses engaged targets near all three sites, including Fordo and Isfahan .

Tehran’s deputy foreign minister warned that any further US intervention would risk triggering “an all‑out war in the region”

U.S. political reaction has been sharply divided. Many Republicans praised the strikes as a bold move, while prominent Democrats, including Senator Bernie Sanders, denounced the strikes as “grossly unconstitutional” due to a lack of congressional approval .

With both Iran and Israel vowing retaliation, the situation remains highly combustible. Experts warn the pilot strikes could widen into a large-scale regional conflict, drawing in U.S. forces based across the Middle East .
