Imran Khan says Israel commits war crimes, and crimes against humanity in its massacre of Palestinian

By Mashal Khan

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan's incarcerated former prime minister Imran Khan strongly condemned the ongoing Israeli bombing on Gaza and the killing of thousands of innocent people.

Khan, who is currently in Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, faces dozens of politically motivated cases, said Israel committed war crimes

“There is a genocide of Palestinians going on & it is utterly condemnable to see how the powerful are allowing it to happen with impunity. Israel is being allowed to break all international laws as it commits war crimes & crimes against humanity in its massacre of the Palestinian people,” Khan said.

“The Muslim world must not just raise their voice against this but should move to ensure an end to the #GazaGenocide," he added.

On Sunday,  a massive rally was held on Sunday in Pakistan’s capital city of Islamabad to show solidarity with Palestinian people against the ongoing brutalities of Israeli forces.

Thousands of people came out in the streets of Islamabad to join the Gaza March called by Sirajul Haq, chief of Jamaat-e-Islami, a major religious-political party of Pakistan.

Addressing the gathering, Haq condemned the ongoing brutalities carried out by Israeli forces and urged the Muslim countries to stand behind the Hamas and fight against Israel.

“Today's message from Pakistan is very clear that we are with Gaza, we are with the First Qibla,” Haq said.

He demanded to stop bombing in Gaza and give freedom to the Palestinian people.

“Millions of people in Islamabad expressed solidarity with the people of Gaza. The hearts of the Pakistani nation beat with the hearts of the people of Palestine. The government of Pakistan should join other Muslim countries and play its role to stop the bombing on Gaza and librate the First Qibla,” he said

The participants chanted slogans against the Israel and in support of Hamas and the Palestinian people.

So far nearly 8,000 innocent Palestinian people including 3,000 children have been killed by Israeli forces and over 17,000 people injured during last 23 days.
